SACRED ROOTS RETREAT
May 2023
At the end of May 2023, just as the summer solstice was nearing and the mid-season storms were but a distant memory, a group of 15 goddesses landed in our women's ecological homeland.
We grounded in the space through movement practices, sharing & activation circles and wandered around the land to feel its energy. We discovered the island of Lesvos, moving between Sigri monastery and the -oh so special! village of Skala Eressos. We explored our limits with fun and in sisterhood, hiking all the way to the Amazones secret beach before rejoicing in authentic Greek food made with love, care & attention for our group by Marina. We danced under the rain, hearts smiling, skin dripping with this gift from the skies, hugging one another in communion, love & appreciation.
But enough. Those are just our words, now read theirs...
SACRED ROOTS, IN THEIR OWN WORDS...
"I got to inhale into and through my core this special Land from all it had and will keep on providing for a very long time. Amazones essence brought me to the intersection of my women empowerment drawn from its history to getting in touch with my Goddess within to strengthen my personal base."
"The whole team turned 5 regular vacation days into a deep spiritual discovery."
"We were instantly surrounded by the embrace of women gifting us from their true kindness. Sharing their skills, their time and excellent company. The whole team was present with their attention to details as smooth as the brise flowing when we needed it"
"Your intent, your passion, your goals, your execution provides a once in a life time access to a retreat thoughtfully set up to be what it needs to be to each one showing up."
"It’s a humbling experience to see the locals embrace the Amazones Ecoland as part of the community."
